Sorry I haven't added anything new for soooo long! Things have been crazy busy lately, but hopefully I'll be able to get lots of new things into the gallery in the upcoming weeks and months.

In the meantime here are some studies of everyone's favorite alchemist. I've learned a lot about economy of line by studying the art of Hiromu Arakawa. You can also see my attempts to learn how to draw "chibi" edward. As anyone who has read Miki Falls can see, I haven't included chibi-type drawings in my own work as of yet. I'm still a little unsure about whether I'll try it in my next project. What do you all think?

wow they all look great :D i just bought the first 4 issue of fullmetal alchemist too, i've seen the anime but i heard that they ended it early and made an alternate ending to the comics so i decided to get them too ^^;

Nice drawings! I :heart: them! But I still like Roy Mustang over Edward any day... or I just like tall guys. *imagines Edward getting angry at me for doing so*

oh and i definitely think you should use chibi in your next book :D it adds a nice undertone of comedy to serious story's without it sometimes things can get too depressing or serious for some people.

and as anime such as bleach and FMA have shown us chibi can fit into even the most serious of situations to lighten the mood :)
