"Best Friend" Characterby ~markcrilley

Fan Art / Manga & Anime / Traditional / Books & Novels

I'd like the main character in my next manga series to have an interesting best friend who pops in and out of the story from time to time. Being something of a music geek myself, I'd love him to be a character who's almost comically obsessed with music.

I also think it would be fun to have him be a big beefy character without having any of the sterotypical "tough guy" traits that so often come with that body type in comics.

I don't like characters who are so "Oaf-like," as they tend to be annoying and helpless in the story.
