Here's an illustration from "The Enormous Egg," a classic chapter book from the 1950's I was hired to re-illustrate for Little, Brown & Co. I had a lot of fun doing this book, and took the job very seriously, since I knew the original had been admired by several generations of readers.

That artist description confused me for a sec.
I thought you drew this picture in the 1950's.
"Wait a...there's no way...I think I misread something!"
