Artist's Comments
Reika, Miki's aggressive rival for Hiro's affections, was a fun character for me to create. I wanted her to come across at first as a stereotypical 'bad girl', then gradually show that she had a legitimate point of view and was more than just a snarling villian. By the third book ("Autumn") she is, I hope, capable of surprising the reader with her actions.

Spongebob Dating Sim...wait wait! Just...just think about it...
I love the ink and watercolor image over the sketched background. Actually, the cross-hatching in the background is a refreshing change from the solid line-work in the manga! The detail is all still there, but I feel like it has more...character? That is totally not the right word, but there's something about it that emanates an aura of...something I can't quite put my finger on.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that this is really nice!!
