One of my personal favorite illustrations from the whole series. I was trying very hard to do something worthy of a Miyazaki film, as if Miki and Hiro were just about to stumble upon the den of Totoro. ^_^

Though it looks rather romanticized, I've come upon beautiful places like this in Japan very often, almost without even looking for them...
