This is a test illustration I did just to see if I could ink with a brush (a la Jeff Smith) rather than with a pen. I like the technique, but it's not quite right for my new project. I'll be doing many more such experiments, I'm sure, before I arrive at the new look I'm searching for...

When I saw this I was like "JEFF SMITH?!" Then I read the description and I was like, "ohhhhh, so he was going for a jeff Smith style"
Well, you did really well, it looks great! You even noted Jeff Smith's little texture mark/dot things!
