Behind the Scenes: Dialogue

I thought folks might enjoy seeing a small sample of dialogue writing--and rewriting--from Miki Falls. As is often the case, you'll see that there are even a few more changes between the rewritten dialogue and what ended up in the final book.

Often changes are made at the request of the editor, but in this case all the changes were my own: I guess I was trying to get all the humor I could out of this cheerful truck driver's one-and-only appearance in the series...
