Report a Policy Violation
For those who have many watchers, and for those who don’t have many, it is hard to know how one retains that interest as well as receive more. This article explores the basics of watchers and how we react to certain situations. Although it does not affect some deviants, and the tips are generally related to common sense, we hope the article is a worthwhile read and that the majority learn something from reading this.

Artist's Comments
This is an illustration I did many years ago when I had an idea for a children's picture book about a little boy going to a Japanese grocery store with his grandmother. The book never got any further than this one illustration, sadly! I was always pleased with how it turned out, though.
The original art is owned by Mayumi H., a longtime supporter of my books and comics; she's here on DA, actually, so maybe she'll have something to say about this. ^_^ Students of Japanese will notice a little hidden Miyazaki reference: The boxes on the lower right say "Tonari no Totoro," the original Japanese title of My Neighbor Totoro." |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
